School is in session..... are you working on your homework?

Eventhough it's summertime and the last thing that most Parents want to hear about is homework,especially homework for them.  But it's always a good idea to  work on this homework now. (besides, you are not like most parents - you are better than most of them.)   As parents we know the struggles that are all around us as we try and raise our kids the best we can.  We want them to be successful in all that they do, but do we expect the same of ourselves?  Now with the challenges that kids have today compared to when we there age, it's like night and day.  We can either try and thing they don't affect our kids or we can be aware of them and work at helping our kids and ourselves deal with them.  Now we don't have to like these challenges and changes, but we can look within these new issues as opportunities to become a better parent and help our kids become better people too. Stay tuned for more info and discussion attempted here.

Your homework assignment is to ask yourself these questions:  How can I get better at being a parent? How can I get better at my job?  If I don't like my job am I going to just settle?  or will I look to get better and find something that is better for me and my family?  Are things going for me the way I want  
them to go?  What are things that are holding me back from doing the things I want to do and accomplish in my life and the lives of my family? There will be a few more items here soon to get you thinking......
