Would love to hear some thoughts and feedback as to what music means to you. What your favorite songs are - your favorite bands - great memories going to concerts, etc. Find those favorie tunes of yours - listen to them again - tap into the emotion and energy that those songs bring to you!! It's all good, especially in the summer time.
August 1st already - wow.. time continues to fly by. Got to thinking about this the other day - how important music is to just about all of us. The emotion, the memories, the connection to our past, present & future. It inspries, it helps to motivate, music does so many things in our lives. I did a blog post about this over the last couple of years along with maybe an old podcast from that same time - I figured it was time for another reminder on how I think, music is so important to life.

Wow - Fired Up on a Sunday - the last Sunday of July. Still amazing how fast time is going by. I guess it's just another & constant reminder that I need to (we all do) spend my time going after my dreams, goals and passions in life... for we are all running out of time. Just because it's summer and just because some of us have been done with "school" for years - we need to remember that school is always in session. The teacher is life!! Life is always teaching us lessons.... Success leaves clues... each day. It's our job to be aware and awake enough to catch those lessons and to do something with them to help ourselves get to the success we want to have in life. Great lessons to share with you today!! If you find value in this podcast - share it with others. Leave me with a lot of stars so others can find this too. Let's start a conversation about things too. Amazing way to start my day today as I started reading a book titled "On Fire - the 7 Choices to Ignite a Radically Inspired Life" by John Oleary. I've only read the first 2 chapters and I am simply blown away by this man's story and the lessons that are in his book. This should be a must read on everyone's list. But before you read it - you need to listen to an interview that Brian Buffini did on his podcast with the author, John O'Leary. Here is the link for that podcast: https://podcast.brianbuffini.com/an-interview-with-john-oleary/ Besides - you should be listening to Brian's podcast anyway. :-) Please checkout my FB page as I will have some details there about this book, my podcast of course, but also - I want to put this out there that I would love to have a FB and / or Twitter Discussion on - this book, maybe the end of summer time?? Check it out ... plus, leave me a 5 Star rating if you see fit. I'm blown away , totally humbled by how many of you are listening to my podcast... thank you so much!
July is just about done - amazing to see the summer going by so fast. So many valuable lessons can be found each and every day! I recently found a couple of good lessons... one while getting my haircut and the other at the gym. They have stuck with me and have helped me think differently on things that come up in my life. Hope these stories help you with something that you are dealing with or will deal will some time - as we ALL go through different things while we are looking for success. Keep in touch - leave me any questions, discussion points, feedback, etc. Leave me a 5 Star rating on ITunes - Sticher - Google Play - If not 5 Stars - leave me some constructive feedback.
Contact me on FB on my page: Coach To Expect Success or on Twitter: @coachtosuccess Amazing start to my Monday today - as I met with the great Rick Showalter for breakfast. Rick and I met at Sam Crowley's event back in June and we became friends right away. He's a great guy - I'm learning so much from him in the short time we have known each other. So many lessons to share with you from our breakfast chat - One of the biggest takeaways for me, how much I've gotten in my own way with my thinking & excuses. He is the same way, so both of us have been fighting this battle on ourselves. So many people out there have been helping each of us. Meeting & talking to people face to face, listening to podcasts from so many difference makers to reading books that are helping too. Hope you find some value in this episode - I know I did for sure!! Link to the article: http://www.success.com/article/how-positivity-makes-you-healthy-and-successful

5 things - it's not a huge number and usually I can remember 3 things for sure, but this list is one that I need to remember and work on all 5 items. These can help most people I think or at least one or tow of the items for sure. In reading over this list - we can take these and use them to make us stronger. Not only by watching out for doing these things - but even more importantly, we can do the oppisite of what these things are. First for me is picking myself up, talking positively to myself instead of putting myself down. What are some things you can do with this list? Get in touch with me - let me and others know. Looking forward to a great discussion. July 202017
Great time of year if you are a sports fan - and with my Golf is usually at the top of my list - especially the major tournaments - even more so is The Ryder Cup! So many lessos from golf and others sports - all dealing with life. In today's episode, I go through a few that I see are present in watching and playing these great games. Also - a shout out to a friend of mine that ironically he and I have not met face to face - I'm talking about the the great Thom Gustafsson. He's got a lot of golfing background having played at a very high level during his lifetime. We got connected online through our love of the Ryder Cup - another cool aspect of sports.... bringing people together from all around the world. I hope you enjoy the lessons - please share this podcast with others if you find some little bits of value in it. It's helps giving a 5 Star rating - not for my ego, but simply to get connected with more people. Keep in touch - always looking for good discussions, questions, and comments. Awesome start to my day today - went out for breakfast - great morning to take a drive. I went to a new and different place and it was a great start to my day. Got some reading done in a book I'm reading again "The Magic of Thinking Big" - along with article from Success magazine. Found a great quote from Abe Lincoln - "The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time." Helps us to remember how each day is part of our success puzzle for life. We need to work at this every day – looking to get better and do more every single day. Little bit here and there will make a huge difference as time goes by. Keep in touch – would love to get a discussion going on all of these topics. Found a great article from Success magazine that really connected with me in a few different areas - As a father and husband, a teacher, a basketball coach, and just generally someone who wants to make a difference with other people. I think that the information in this podcast and the article itself can help you in a few different areas, where ever you are looking for a little help & guidance in your life. You can find the article link on my FB page at Coach To Expect Success and on my website blog - there is a link to the article there: http://www.coachtoexpectsuccess.com/coach-dalys-blog Keep in touch - let me know what you think as I'm always looking to improve and to get this message out to more people. Thanks!
What a great lunch I had with one of my best friends - Dr. Jeff Lip. He is one that every time I meet with him, I always walk away feeling better about myself. Not only that, I feel fired up to get out there and do things that I want to do. He's one that always offers encouragement to me. He is a good reminder that I need to ramp up my game to do that for others too. Part of our talk today came around to something that I've heard over the last almost 2 years - and that is that our past, is our best mentor! So much value that all of us carry around with ourselves. It's really pure gold if you look at it from the points of learning from it and not living in it. Great stuff here for you to learn something from that I know will help you. :-)
