Fired Up on a Friday - running a couple of quick errands - stopped for a great breakfast special at Leo's Coney Island. Recording some thoughts in my car before I leave to stop by a couple of more places. Reviewing my notes from Sam Crowley's live event back in June in Cincinnati - wow.... so powerful to re-read or re-watch things as it always is the case I get new insights and new ideas from old materials.... it's all due to the fact that I'm not the same person as I read or watch something again. Tons of nuggets came to me today - especially the fact that I need to continue to increase believe and confidence in myself since the things I do affect others. The same goes for you too. Look to increase your confidence and belief in yourself in going for your dreams and goals. What you do affects others for sure - every day!! Let's talk - let's have some discussions on the importance of Master Mind groups... find your way over to my Facebook page: Coach To Expect Success - Look for many new and exciting features on that page that will hopefully inspire and engage you to become the best you can be. I'm fired up... I hope you are too.. if you are not, how can I help you get there or at least get started. :-)
Relationships - Part 2. Continuing on an important part of what life is all about - Relationships. They take work because you know what?? People are messy... it's not always easy to keep relationships going and it does take work on our part to keep them going throughout out lives. Now that doesn't mean that every relationship MUST keep going all throughout life - that would be possible and it could not be good either. I do want to emphasize this point about how important they are and to remember that we can accomplish more throughout our lives when we work with others compared to just trying to do it all ourselves. When it comes to life - Relationships, Tasks, and Character... the 3 big pillars of life are key. I'll talk more on the other two soon. But for now - look to see in your life where a little work needs to be done on the relationships in your life. Always look to help them out where you can, invest in others, take the focus off yourself and realize for the special ones out there on important those people are in your life. Don't take them for granted! Hey, let’s get some conversation going on this and other topics you want to talk about. Find me on Facebook: My page is Coach To Expect Success. Relationships - with today's technology there is really no reason to not keep up with them and to keep in touch with people that you care about. It's become apparent to me that I need to do a better job at this in my life Just found yesterday about a friend of mine that I grew up with just recently passed away earlier this year from cancer. Erin was a neighbor - 2 houses away - and a friend and she was my senior prom date too. I sure did not do a great job at all keeping in touch with her over the years. She is one that I needed to thank, simply for being a part of my life and now it's too late. I'm sitting in a rest area on my way to some technology training for school - listening to John O'Leary's podcasts - yes... the author of "On Fire"... you NEED to get that book. Relationships are a big part of his book and his podcasts.... I had to stop and not only use the bathroom... but I needed to get this podcast recorded as it was heavy on my mind and heart. Please - drop me some comments on my Facebook page - Coach To Expect Success... there are so many things that we can help each other with and others. Thanks for listening and spreading the word about my podcasts.. much love and appreciation for you tuning in.
What a great day - got to go golfing with a friend of mine, his dad and a friend of my friend too. Didn't play to well... but it was a great day doing something I enjoy doing with great people. Then my wife and I had a great date night gong to a fabulous 80's concert.. awesome energy from all the bands and a fantastic time with my beautiful bride.
Again... great day. Take the time to do those things you love doing and doing them with the people you care for too. That's what life is all about. This episode went a little overtime... but that is ok as I guess I had a bit more to say! :-)
This book has me "On Fire" - There is a chapter on Stagnation vs. Growth and let me tell you, I think we all understand that we need to grow and that we can be staying put in life. But John O'Leary lays it out in very easy to understand ideas on the importance as to why it's MUST for us to do! There is another point to remember and that is what is it about success vs. significance? There is a big difference for sure. If you chase just success... it won't last too long. Whereas if you look to go after significance - success will surely be part of that journey and it will be lasting too! Great tips today from a great read that you got to get your hands on.
Awesome discussion points coming too on my Facebook page: Coach To Expect Success.... as at the end of August, look for some live discussions going on there to talk about the book "On Fire". So, there is still time to get your copy and read it so you can be in on the fantastic discussions that will come out from everyone. Keep in touch... looking forward to any questions or discussions too.
August 1st already - wow.. time continues to fly by. Got to thinking about this the other day - how important music is to just about all of us. The emotion, the memories, the connection to our past, present & future. It inspries, it helps to motivate, music does so many things in our lives. I did a blog post about this over the last couple of years along with maybe an old podcast from that same time - I figured it was time for another reminder on how I think, music is so important to life.
Would love to hear some thoughts and feedback as to what music means to you. What your favorite songs are - your favorite bands - great memories going to concerts, etc. Find those favorie tunes of yours - listen to them again - tap into the emotion and energy that those songs bring to you!! It's all good, especially in the summer time.
Wow - Fired Up on a Sunday - the last Sunday of July. Still amazing how fast time is going by. I guess it's just another & constant reminder that I need to (we all do) spend my time going after my dreams, goals and passions in life... for we are all running out of time. Just because it's summer and just because some of us have been done with "school" for years - we need to remember that school is always in session. The teacher is life!! Life is always teaching us lessons.... Success leaves clues... each day. It's our job to be aware and awake enough to catch those lessons and to do something with them to help ourselves get to the success we want to have in life. Great lessons to share with you today!! If you find value in this podcast - share it with others. Leave me with a lot of stars so others can find this too. Let's start a conversation about things too. Amazing way to start my day today as I started reading a book titled "On Fire - the 7 Choices to Ignite a Radically Inspired Life" by John Oleary. I've only read the first 2 chapters and I am simply blown away by this man's story and the lessons that are in his book. This should be a must read on everyone's list. But before you read it - you need to listen to an interview that Brian Buffini did on his podcast with the author, John O'Leary. Here is the link for that podcast: https://podcast.brianbuffini.com/an-interview-with-john-oleary/ Besides - you should be listening to Brian's podcast anyway. :-) Please checkout my FB page as I will have some details there about this book, my podcast of course, but also - I want to put this out there that I would love to have a FB and / or Twitter Discussion on - this book, maybe the end of summer time?? Check it out ... plus, leave me a 5 Star rating if you see fit. I'm blown away , totally humbled by how many of you are listening to my podcast... thank you so much!
