This is one quote that everyone should be able to do. There are so many things that we can do every day that will help make our tomorrows better. Why don’t more people do this than if it’s easy? Sometimes easy things don’t mean there is no difficulty in getting it done. There are so many distractions that get in our way to do these simple things that at times can make such a big difference.
This statement is also connected with the old statement that we can do just 1% more today, in some area, we can make our tomorrow’s better. That 1%; that one something that just a little bit more effort in, can be found in so many areas. It can be getting up when you say you’re going to get up. It can be getting into work or school 5 minutes earlier and going on things that you have to get done. It can be getting back to exercising or working out when you say you will. It might be finding that 10 or 15 minutes a day to read an article, a blog post, a book, etc., that will give you some new ideas or insight to doing things better. Maybe it’s a phone call or an email you need to send to someone.
These are just a few of the many items that could be done to make your tomorrow better. For some people, these items might constitute more than a little bit of effort, or in other words it might a lot more than just 1% more effort. That’s ok. Even if those people do a little bit of these or other things… for them it may be that 1% that they need. For others it might be more. There lies the key. We all have different gages on what that little improvement might be. But just by moving a little bit forward, whatever measure that is for someone, is the important part that will make a difference for their tomorrow.
I hope that after a few minutes of reading this post, you have a few ideas as to what it can be for you to make your tomorrow better. Then do it again for the next day and the next, and so on. One of my many little things, or my 1% item to do… is to simply to remember to focus on this concept and take care of it. What is yours?
