What a great reminder for all of us. When I saw this a few days ago, it really got me thinking about things. I'm glad I found this one as it helped to set some things a little bit clearer for me. I've made plenty of mistakes in my past for sure. Looking back, those have helped me become who I am today. Just like the classic movie title - The good, the bad and the ugly! LOL!
But just like it says - we are more than those mistakes. We hopefully have learned and gotten better from those events that we didn't do so well. In my case, way too many years of beating myself up from many of those mistakes instead of learning from them. After 47 years I'm getting better from that mistake. This is one of the many lessons that the sooner you learn from it the better off you will be.
There are so many things that go into what makes you up to the person that you are. Our mistakes are just one of those things. How we respond to learning from them is a big part too. We have heard countless times that our attitude makes a huge difference with how successful we are or not. The people who we surround ourselves - that makes a big impact on us and who we become. One last item (but there are many more) is our thinking. That old saying is so very true - we are what we think.
I'm glad we got this out there. What do you think about this? Do you see how true it is? Once you take this in, can you see how much this frees you up to keep moving forward and getting better? That's one of the many thoughts I had from when I saw this. I like it.
