My favorite, all time book is "The Magic of Thinking Big" by David Schwartz. The book has so many great nuggets that I always tell my students that it is a must read on their book list. Our belief has so many key elements to it, especially when it comes to believing in ourselves. That is one of the most difficult challenges during our life time, for most of us that is.
Some people naturally believe in themselves as they have an over-abundance of confidence. They just need to be careful that it's not too much where it's considered being conceited. There is a general rule of being humble that helps throughout life. It is another of the important traits of success. Self-confidence and belief in ourselves is something that most of us have to work on, and the sooner we do that the better.
Another key element to this thought I think is we need to ask ourselves, what are we chasing in life? What are we really all about? If we know why we are doing things, if we have that passion in our lives for going after things, if we have that direction that we are going in - WOW, does that make a huge difference in believing in our selves. The sooner we figure out our purpose in life, the better not only we will be but generally most of those people in our lives will also benefit.
Have you read this book before? If not - get it! I will put my top 25 list on my home page for you to check out. Any thoughts or ideas on the fantastic quote from Dr. David Schwartz? I'm always looking to learn from others and you should always look to see how you can become better along with helping those around you too. Let me know.
